Wellness at Work Connection Grants
October 15 @ 8:00 am - November 16 @ 5:00 pm
A signature initiative for the launch of ScarletWell is the Wellness at WorkConnection Grants that support student wellness activities. The Center for Faculty Success and ScarletWell are partnering to add an added focus on faculty and staff wellness. We invite small grant proposals that will support workplace-centered wellness activities that include faculty and staff participating together. We are seeking applications for projects that promote a culture of well-being across New Brunswick schools, departments, divisions, and/or work teams.
The proposal should describe a series of activities that can be planned in Winter of 2025 and implemented in Spring 2025 and show how the activities will engage faculty and staff together to support any of the eight dimensions of wellness – physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, occupational, environment, financial.
The ScarletWell and Center for Faculty Success teams will work closely with successful applicants as a wellness cohort to support planning activities in Winter 2025 and implementation in Spring 2025. Project Leads will agree to serve as Rutgers-New Brunswick Wellness Champions and meet as a cohort periodically to plan, share, and brainstorm. Priority will be given to activities that have promise of sustainability. Proposals should show how an inclusive and welcoming space will be created and how feedback will be gathered to inform activity refinement and future planning.
Consider projects and activities that will: Promote community and collegiality, allow team members work respectfully and supportively together; provide opportunities for people feel that they belong.
*** Grantees will be asked to give a short presentation about their project at our inaugural Wellness at Work Showcase in the Fall of 2025. ***
The deadline for grant application is November 16, 2024, at 11:59 pm EST.
